The first edition of “ANIMA – Religious Tourism Meeting” will take place on December 6 and 7, 2025. This project, organized by the Province of Salerno, aims to promote the spiritual, cultural, and landscape heritage of the Salerno area, highlighting the central role of dioceses and local networks in the process of sustainable development.
The event, which will take place inside the Certosa di Padula, will be attended by civil and ecclesiastical institutions, cultural organizations, tour operators, associations, foundations, and museums. The Archdiocese of Salerno-Campagna-Acerno will be present with its thematic stand, curated by the Office of Culture and Art.
Archbishop Andrea Bellandi, along with the other bishops of the metropolitan area, will deliver welcoming remarks on Saturday, December 6, during the first conference on the theme of Diocese and Spirituality. The conference will feature Archbishop Stefano Riccardi, Official of the Dicastery for Evangelization and Director of the Holy See Pavilion at Expo 2025 in Osaka.
